Aakash Chopra turned it around by pointing to India's injury issues
Former India batsman Aakash Chopra had a witty response to former England captain Michael Vaughan's tweet on a prediction for the upcoming three-match ODI series between India and England. Vaughan pointed to the absence of Jofra Archer and Joe Root from England's ODI squad and predicted a 3-0 win for India. Aakash Chopra quote-tweeted Vaughan's tweet and suggested that India too were missing key players in Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami. "Early One day series prediction .... India will win 3-0!!! No Root or Archer," tweeted Vaughan. Aakash Chopra commented: "No Bumrah No Shami No Jadeja. #OnOn."

Bumrah was released from India's squad ahead of the fourth Test in Ahmedabad and did not feature in the five-match T20I series.
The cricketer recently got married to TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan and he has not been named in the ODI squad either.
Shami, who fractured his right wrist during the first Test against Australia in November 2020, hasn't been seen in action since then.
Jadeja, who was also injured during the Australia Tests, began his rehabilitation earlier this month and he is expected to be seen on the field for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
In the England camp, Archer was ruled out of the ODIs due to an elbow injury while Root has flown back home after the Tests as part of England's rotation policy.
The three-match ODI series begins on Tuesday in Pune and the remaining two ODIs are scheduled for March 26 and 28.
All games will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune.
