Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh completed 400 wickets in his Test career.
He became only the eleventh bowler in the history of Test cricket to achieve the feat. Anil Kumble (619) and Kapil Dev are the other two Indian players to do so.
Bhajji picked West Indies' Carlton Baugh as his 400th Test victim on Day 2 of the third Test. This is his 96th Test.
He had entered into the 3rd Test with two short of his 400 Test wickets. He found his 399th victim in Darren Sammy whom he dismissed for 20 runs.
Earlier, pacer Ishant Sharma became India'a highest wicket-taker with 19 wickets in a Test series in the West Indies. He dismissed Darren Bravo for 50 runs to take his wicket tally to 19. He had picked the wickets of Adrian Barath and Kirk Edwards on Day 1.
Earlier, Kapil Dev had taken 18 wickets at an average of 21.38 in four Tests in 1988-89.
Ishant also completed a five-wicket haul, third of his Test career, as the West Indies were all out for 204 runs.
