Watson to miss 2nd Test, doubtful for series

Australia all-rounder Shane Watson will miss the second Test against India in Sydney, starting from January 3, and is in fact doubtful for the entire series now.

Australia all-rounder Shane Watson will miss the second Test against India in Sydney, starting from January 3, and is in fact doubtful for the entire series now.

Watson is recovering from hamstring and calf injuries, and has not resume batting or bowling yet.

The worry for Australia is that Ed Cowan, who replaced Watson for the first Test, is also suffering from a sore back and needed treatment during Day 2 of the Test.
