Barcelona football camp in Delhi and Bangalore

FC Barcelona's former player Josep 'Pep' Moratalla will head a five-day training camp for children in the 6-17 years age group to be held at the Bangalore Football Stadium here between May 21-25.

While the camp in Delhi will be conducted between May 14-18, the camp at Bangalore will be held between My 21-25. Each registration costs Rs.12,600 and will be on a first-come basis.

The release claims that the training imparted at these camps "is the same methodology followed by the first team of FC Barcelona".

The release says the training programme is divided into three segments - Introduction, Pre-Training, and Training.

"The camp will blend practical training on the pitch and in the classroom with focus on technical, tactical and off-the-pitch tools necessary to succeed in football and in life," the release added.

The participants will be divided into Under-8, Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 and Under-17 age groups.
