India Will Lose Four-nil in Australia if MS Dhoni and Team Play Like This: Glenn McGrath to NDTV
India will tour Australia for a four-Test series in December 2014-January 2015. Glenn McGrath feels Mahendra Singh Dhoni's team will struggle if they don't improve their skills to play five-day cricket.

Former Australian speedster Glenn McGrath says Australia will thrash India 4-0 when Mahendra Singh Dhoni team travels Down Under later this year. On Tuesday, McGrath told NDTV in an exclusive chat that if India continue to play the kind of cricket they dished out in the just-concluded Test series in England, they will be in serious trouble. India went down 3-1 in the five-Test series versus England, losing the last two games at Old Trafford and The Oval by an innings and inside three days. "Australia will beat them four-nil if India play like this," McGrath said when asked to predict a scoreline for the series that starts with a Test match in Brisbane from December 4. Australia were thrashed 4-0 when they toured India in February-March 2013. India won in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mohali and Delhi, largely on spinning wickets. But the script will be different this time, said McGrath. (India defeat greeted with furious headlines)
"I won't call it a revenge series, but Australia will be eagerly waiting for the Indians to come. This is a much-improved Australian side and the way they won the Ashes says a lot. Mitchell Johnson has lifted the team with his bowling and Michael Clarke's team is at its best," warned McGrath. (India fined for maintaining low over rate at the Oval)
McGrath was critical about India's Test performance in England. "They have a lot of work to do. The fielding has been sloppy and the batting inadequate," McGrath said, particularly mentioning the failure of Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara to score runs. (Shastri Appointed Team India Director)
The Aussie legend believes Dhoni remains the best man to lead India in all formats of the game. "I respect Dhoni as a player, person and captain. He still wants to play Test cricket and he should decide whether he wants to lead in the longer format," said McGrath. (India in England: Former cricketers want Duncan Fletcher sacked)
India don't have a man to replace Dhoni, feels McGrath. "Who do you replace Dhoni with?" the former Aussie speedster, who heads the MRF Pace Academy in Chennai, said. (Coping with England rout a challenge: Dhoni)
