England Improve Domination Over India With Thumping Series Win
England recorded a thumping series win over India, adding to their tally of victories by an innings over the Sub-Continent side.

Alastair Cook-led England handed Mahendra Singh Dhoni & Co. a massive drubbing, winning their second consecutive Test match inside three days and claiming the five-match series 3-1.
This win, by an innings and 244 runs, is 13th innings victory over India, with the Oval being a favourite hunting ground as it has produced three from that tally. Indian batsmen suffered another implosion as they lost eight wickets inside a session and were bowled out for a paltry total of 94, their sixth lowest total in England. This was India's lowest at the Oval, the previous record being 98 in 1952. (Alastair Cook lauds England's character in series win)
After a memorale win at Lord's, India suffered a downward spiral, courtesy the poor showing from the batsmen throughout the series. India's number three man Cheteshwar Pujara finished with 282 runs in 14 innings at an average of 20.14.
