The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Saturday announced a partnership with social networking site Twitter to launch missed call updates for fans.

"The BCCI has many firsts to its credit, in terms of making it easier for fans to connect to cricket on mobile. We are pleased to be the first sports federation globally to launch the SMS Fast Follow feature on Twitter and ensure that cricket lovers are now just a missed call away from getting inside information on their favourite sport," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said in a release.
