Graeme Smith signs off in 16th position in ICC Test Rankings
Graeme Smith scored five and three in his final Test match. Smith reached a career high of second position after his match-winning century against England in Johannesburg in January 2010.

South African captain Graeme Smith signed off on his impressive cricket Test career in 16th place in the ICC Rankings for batsmen announced on Thursday. (Related: Post retirement, Smith wants role in SA cricket)
Smith reached a career high of second position after his match-winning century against England in Johannesburg in January 2010. That was also when he achieved a best-ever 843 ratings points. (Also read: Smith's final Test ends in 245-run loss for South Africa)
He ends his ODI career in 42nd position on the ICC Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen. Smith spent 57 matches and 160 days as the top-ranked batsman in ODI cricket between March and August 2008. He achieved a best-ever ratings points of 784 in November 2005. (Australia replace India in second spot)
In Twenty20 International cricket, he spent 31 matches and 415 days at number one position on the ICC Player Rankings. He first went atop in February 2006 and was last in the top position in September 2007. Smith retired from international cricket on Wednesday.
