This is well set-up by Jimmy, as in the previous ball, he bowled a ball in the channel outside off, which nipped back in significantly and hence, Rahul went to play at this, keeping in mind the inswing. Usually, when there is a delivery in such a channel, KL has been wary and has left it, but this time, he goes chasing after this and pays the price, as this delivery nipped away late and caught the edge. James Anderson runs in and serves a fuller ball, in the fourth stump channel, gets it to move away as well. KL Rahul looks for the big, booming drive through the off side, but only manages an outside edge, which is easily gulped down by Jos Buttler behind the sticks. 4.1 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! What a start this is for Anderson and England. They have struck again and India's wall, Pujara, has been breached. Anderson probes with his line and length and makes Pujara play at this, which proves to be his undoing. Again, he dishes a couple of inswingers and poses a question on Pujara's mind, then, he serves an outswinger in the zone of uncertainty and gets the better of Pujara. On a length this time, around the off pole, the ball hits the deck and nips away beautifully. Cheteshwar Pujara pokes his blade at this, looking to defend, but the ball catches the outside edge, due to the away movement. Jos Buttler dives low to his right and pouches this. He looks to defend but the ball turns just enough to get past his willow. Hameed misses out and the ball crashes the top of the off pole. Hameed was looking very good but has to depart. 94 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Virat Kohli trusted his bowler and went for the review reluctantly. Siraj serves a length ball, down the leg side. Malan stays back and looks to flick it away but misses. Was there some noise? Few of the Indian players put up an appeal, but the umpire is not interested. Even Pant was not excited. Siraj though convinces the skipper and they take it upstairs. He throws the kitchen sink at it but he fails to get on top of the bounce, it goes off the top edge and down the throat of the fielder at deep square leg. Mayank Agarwal, the substitute fielder, is present there and held onto the catch. England lose their eighth wicket. Mohammed Siraj strikes and roars. He is delighted. The hook is probably not the right shot to play, we have seen Rohit get out to that shot a few times and now Curran.  418/8

Sharma looks to whip it away but the ball comes back in just a touch and hits him on the pads. England put in a big appeal and the umpire raises the finger. Sharma reviews this. Outstanding piece of cricket from England and they will head back as the happier side. Overton serves this on a length, around the off pole, KL Rahul is forced to play at this due to the angle, but the ball nips away enough to catch the outside edge. The ball goes in between Joe Root (first slip) and Jonny Bairstow (second slip) and Bairstow dives to his left and takes a one-handed stunner. Jubilation for England here. 83.3 OUT! PUJARA IS GONE! Robinson has hit the jackpot. He comes up with a full delivery around off, shaping back in, Pujara offers no shot and takes it on his back pad. They appeal but the umpire stays still. Root has a word with his bowler and the keeper. This time he goes for the referral in time. Remember, the impact won't be an issue here as the batter was not offering any shot. The Ball Tracker rolls in and it shows three reds. Huge roar from the English players, they have got an early success this morning and it's the big wicket of Pujara. Surely, there was an error in judgement from Cheteshwar Pujara, he was undone first by the fuller length and then by the extravagant inward movement. To worsen the situation, he was hit on the back pad. Anderson delivers it on a length and just outside off, it lands and moves away slightly, Rahane should have looked to defend it close to his body but needless hangs his bat out in defense. The ball moves away, takes a thick outside edge and goes to the keeper. As soon as Jos Buttler catches it, Joe Root jumps in delight. The crowd is loving it. His lines have been exemplary and he has altered his lengths superbly as well. This one is served in the channel outside off and the natural angle of the bowler takes it away from the left-hander. Pant could have left it alone but he wants to feel the ball. Goes after it with a defensive bat and edges it to third slip. Jadeja walks back and there goes India's last shot at avoiding an innings defeat. On a length by Overton, landing closer to off and then leaving the batter. Ravindra Jadeja looks to defend but that proves to be his undoing, as the outside edge is caught. Another catch that Jos Buttler is not going to drop. Moeen gives it a good toss and lands it on a fuller length outside off, it probably lands on one of the footmarks and breaks back in sharply.
