Mithali Raj scred 103 not out to guide India to a convincing six-wicket victory over traditional rivals Pakistan in Cuttack on Thursday.
India have won both their games against Pakistan in the World Cup - by ten wickets at Bradman Oval, Bowral on March 7, 2009 and by 6 wickets at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on February 7, 2013.
India enjoy 100 per cent record against Pakistan in ODIs, winning all eight games.
Pakistan have won two and lost 14 out of sixteen played in the World Cup - winning per cent 12.50.
India have won 28 and lost 24 out of 54 played in the World Cup (NR 1 and Tied 1) - winning per cent 53.77.

Mithali Raj (103 not out) has become the third Indian player to post a World Cup hundred, joining Harmanpreet Kaur - 107 not out against England at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on February 3, 2013 and Thirush Kamini - 100 against the West Indies at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on January 31, 2013.
Mithali has registered four hundreds in ODIs - one each against Ireland, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Pakistan - an Indian record in ODIs. Jaya Sharma, with two centuries, has the next best tally for India in ODIs.
Nida Dar (68 not out) has posted a career-best innings in ODIs, outstripping the 57 against Netherlands at Fatulla on 22-11-2011. These are her only two fifties in ODIs.
Dar has established a record for the highest individual innings for Pakistan in the World Cup.
Dar's unbeaten 68 is the third highest score by a Pakistani player in ODIs - the highest being 101 not out by Nain Abidi against Ireland at Dublin on August 22, 2012.
Nain Abidi (58) has posted her highest score against India - her second best in ODIs, next only to the 101 not out against Ireland at Dublin on August 22, 2012.
Abidi's first fifty against India is her sixth in ODIs. She has recorded four fifties in a losing cause in ODIs with 58 against India as her highest.
Abidi's 58 is her highest score in the World Cup - her second fifty - the first being 52 against New Zealand at Sydney on March 19, 2009. Abidi is the only Pakistani player to register two fifties in the World Cup.
For the first time in a World Cup game, two players have recorded fifties for Pakistan.
Nagarajan Niranjana (3/35) has produced her best World Cup bowling performance.
Niranjana's above performance is her third best in ODIs - the best being 3 for 24 against England at Boscawen Park, Truro on July 8, 2012.
Reema Malhotra and Raj put on 87 (unbroken) - India's highest partnership for the fifth wicket in the World Cup as well as their highest against Pakistan for any wicket.
Abidi and Dar were involved in a fifth-wicket stand of 80 - their highest partnership for any wicket against India in ODIs The said partnership is their second highest for any wicket in the World Cup, next only to the 84 for the first wicket between Maliha Hussain and Sharmeen Khan against South Africa at Vadodara on December 16, 1997.
Rajesh Kumar
