Sri Lanka registered the fastest win ever in Twenty20 internationals when they crushed Netherlands by 9 wickets in an ICC World Twenty20 Super-10 tie at Chittagong. After dismissing the Dutch side for just 39 in 10.3 overs, the Islanders romped home in 5 overs, making it one of the shortest matches in T20 history, lasting 15.3 overs. # Netherlands' 39 is the lowest completed innings total in T20Is - the previous lowest being 56 by Kenya against Afghanistan at Sharjah on September 30, 2013. Their previous lowest in a T20I was 86 against Ireland at Dubai (DSC) on February 13, 2010.
# Netherlands' above score is the second lowest in all Twenty20s. Tripura had scored 30 off 11.1 overs against Jharkhand at Dhanbad on October 20, 2009.
# The match aggregate runs of 79 is also the lowest in T20 internationals. Previous lowest match aggregate (86 runs) was recorded when Ireland (43/7 in 9 overs) beat Bermuda (41/8 in 9 overs) by 4 runs (D/L method) at Belfast in 2008.
