Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood actor and Kolkata Knight Riders team owner, speaks on his last night's scuffle with the security personnel at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
# He pushed very aggressively. I got angry. A lot of his people came towards me aggressively. I think they didn't expect me to talk back. They have said that I was drunk. Very fashionable to say so and so was drunk. I wasn't. I had gone to pick up my kids. They were very aggressive. Can't repeat some of the things they said.
# They were very abusive. This gentleman should not have spoken to me like that. I haven't said anything about anyone. I said pls call who's in charge. You can't talk to me like this. They should apologise to me. They were extremely high handed.
# If this is the kind of behavior meted out to people at this stadium, I would not like to go. I don't know about the ban. There were more people than you are right now rushing at me. They manhandled children. Touched little girls. Unpardonable. What were the kids have done? We were on the site. The kids were playing. I got very angry when I saw them pushing these little girls.
# I will give my side. I should give a written complaint on their behavior.
# I didn't go for the match. It does not change my life by not allowing me in the stadium. I wish I could find the man who spoke rudely. It was very wrong. I have no clarification to give. They should look into their association and know how to behave. They cannot under garb of security rules behave high handedly. Especially with children. Even if kids were misbehaving a little, you don't manhandle them.
# I don't know what the legal process is. Our lawyers will take care of it. I have a huge sportsman spirit. To be abusive to fans and audiences is not what I do. there was a gentleman with glasses who said unpardonable things. They manhandled little girls.
# I will not deny that I did not abuse but it all started when this gentleman said something in Marathi. I asked him to speak to me in Hindi. And then he said something that in today's time in our country is not acceptable.
# They perhaps did for cheap thrills.
# Whether we win or lose, we are the ones who take it in the sportsmanship spirit. Why would I misbehave when we have won.
