Cricket expert Sunil Gavaskar has come out in criticism of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision of not bowling Ishant Sharma at the commencement of the post lunch session.

Cricket expert Sunil Gavaskar has come out in criticism of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision of not bowling Ishant Sharma at the commencement of the post lunch session.
Ishant, who had picked up 3 important wickets was not bowled by Dhoni immediately after lunch in a turn of events which which eventually saw England's Matt Prior score a century to give India a herculean target of 458 to chase.

India had the momentum going into lunch having picked up 4 crucial wickets for just 8 runs but Prior's innings alongside Stuart Broad who scored a surprise fifty ensured that India remained on the back foot on Day 4.
Ishant however defended his captain's decision saying that it was his call to take a break after having bowled 11 overs in the first session. (Also Read: I am human, I need rest too: Ishant)
India are set a target of 458 runs to chase in the final innings which seems even more tougher because of the injury to Gautam Gambhir. Team India will also hope that Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has recovered fully from the fever that had kept him out of the field on Day 4.
