New Delhi:
He may have had a forgettable series in England but man of the series in the 5-match ODI tournament - MS Dhoni - has climbed in International Cricket Council rankings to take the sixth spot.
India skipper finished the series against England as the highest run-scorer with 236 runs with an average of almost 79. His performance may not have given his team a win but it helped Dhoni climb three places, overtake Virat Kohli who is now on the ninth position and take the spot behind Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara.
England's Jonathon Trott was the other big gainer from the recently concluded series as he jumped over Sangakkara to take the fourth spot in the rankings.
