Post match quotes:

Man of the Match Suresh Raina: "We had a very good net session for the last three days. When I went in, we needed to be positive and I got a good partnership with Hussey. They had some good bowlers like Morne Morkel and we had to play the first six overs well. I have been working on the short ball. I had a good tour of South Africa with A team that helped me a lot."
MS Dhoni: "The way Hussey and Raina batted it was very pleasing to see, taking the attack to the opposition. We need to be improving as we go along in the tournament. Need to be prepared to bowl second as well. The bowlers need to do well in the coming games. AB batted really well."
Michael Hussey: "There was quite a bit of dew, so was was very difficult for the bowlers, especially spinners to grip the ball. After losing Murali Vijay early we just tried to be calm and be composed. Raina batted really well and took the pressure off me. I enjoy playing with this side and we have a great bunch of guys.

ÂÂ
MS Dhoni: Feels great to be back playing after a break of two months. The groundsmen have done a good job in maintaining the pitch and the outfield. There will be lots of dew which will only increase later and bowling second should be difficult. Chris Morris, Wriddhiman Saha, Faf du Plessis and Imtiaz Ahmed miss out from playing XI.
ÂÂ
Titans skipper Henry Davids: We would have decided to bowl as well, the dew will make the ball skid on. We hope to post a decent total. We have 2 spinners and they should come handy under these conditions. But pace bowlers is our the strength.
19:32 (IST) Toss time and MS Dhoni calls it correctly, Chennai Super Kings will field against Titans.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, refreshed and energised, will once again be instrumental for Chennai as they look to start on a high. Chennai and the rest of the Indian Premier League teams will be dismantled and rebuilt at the 2014 IPL auctions, and for a group that has dominated club-level Twenty20 in India, the CLT20 represents a chance at a final hurrah.
In Chennai's last outing, in the final of the IPL in May against Mumbai Indians, they ended up at the wrong end of the result following a batting collapse. It came on the back of off-field distractions, with their Team Principal, M Gurunath, alleged to have been involved in betting. For a tournament that had gone to plan up until then, it was a disastrous end, and Chennai would be determined to move on.
Titans head into the tournament on the back of an unsuccessful domestic season in which they failed to collect a single trophy. However, they are capable of springing a surprise or two, and have a squad packed with internationals, all capable of making a push for the title. Apart from Morne Morkel and AB de Villiers, Titans have Henry Davids, the captain, Farhaan Behardien, Roelof van der Merwe and Marchant de Lange in their roster, all of whom are capable of making a difference. Fleming yearns for one last good show by CSK before 2014 auctions
Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming wants Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team to leave an ever-lasting impression on the Championship League T20 before most of the players go under hammer for fresh auctions before next edition of Indian Premier League.
