India stand-in skipper Virat Kohli has said that regular skipper MS Dhoni is getting close to full fitness and he may play the final of the tri-series if India make the summit clash. Dhoni was earlier ruled out with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Ambati Rayudu in the squad for the ongoing tri-series.

"Dhoni is getting better and he may be fit for the final," said Kohli at the toss against Sri Lanka at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad on Tuesday. Dhoni suffered the injury while batting against the West Indies in their opening encounter against the hosts at Kingston, Jamaica.
Sri Lanka won the toss and had opted to field in the final league match, which both teams have to win in order to make it to the final.
