23.22: It's all over! Bangladesh beat India by 79 runs to take 1-0 lead in three-match series!
23.05: OUT! Mohit Sharma is gone now! He tries to guide a Mortaza delivery down to third man but wicketkeeper Mushfiqur takes a good, diving one-handed catch to send him packing. Bangladesh are now just one wicket away.
23.04: Mohit Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are giving Indian fans a few reasons to cheer and smile before the inevitable defeat.
22.49: It's a five-wicket haul for debutant Mustafizur Rahman. Ravindra Jadeja is gone! India 195/8 (38.4) v Bangladesh (307)
22.37: Two wickets in two balls! Debutant Mustafizur has turned the game on its head here! He first foxes Raina to play a slower delivery onto his stumps and then gets Ashwin off the first ball. India 188/7 (36.5)

22.33: SIX! Raina eases the pressure a bit by going down on one knee and smacking a Mustafizur ball for a six on the off-side. India 187/5 (36.2 overs)
22.29: The batting powerplay is on but India do not have too many batters left. Can Jadeja and Raina take India through? The required rate has shot up over 9.
22.10: Drinks break brought a message for the batsmen in the middle. Right after the break, Raina comes down the track and whacks a six over mid-wicket off Shakib. India 152/5 (31.2 overs)
21.55: Can Bangladesh stun the World Cup 2015 semifinalists tonight? They've done exceedingly well to get rid of the top five batsmen. Can they deny Raina a chance of being a hero for India?
21.52: DHONI IS GONE! Shakib makes the biggest strike of the night! The Indian skipper chases a turning delivery and edges it, Mushfiqur completes a sharp catch. Dhoni walks, Bangladesh celebrate! India 128/5 (25.3 overs)

21.47: At the halfway stage, India reach 126/4 in 25 overs, need 182 off 150 balls. Dhoni (4) and Raina (9) in the middle.
21.46: Ouch! That must have hurt! Mustafizur, in his follow through, fails to get out of the way of Dhoni's run and the Indian skipper nudges him aside, rather strongly. The scrawny bowler has left the field.
21.35: Another one gone! Rahane's struggle at the crease ends! His uppish drive is well held by Nasir Hossain, giving Mustafizur his second scalp. India 115/4 (23 overs)
21.25: WICKET! Bangladesh are making the right kind of noises here! Debutant Mustafizur foxes Rohit Sharma and a leading edge is taken easily by Mortaza at mid-off. India 105/3 (20.5 overs)
21.06: Rohit is joined by Rahane as Bangladesh look to force further in-roads.
21.05: Taskin gets the big fish! Not the Hilsa, but VIrat Kohli! The Indian Test skipper was fishing outside off-stump and a faint nick off an attempted cut shot goes to Mushfiqur. He collects it and sends Taskin on a celebration run. India 101/2 (17.2 overs)
20.59: OUT! Shikhar Dhawan fails to get his bat out of the way of a short ball from Taskin and Mushfiqur finally completes a catch. Taskin surely looked delighted with that wicket. India 95/1 (16 overs) v Bangladesh.
20.52: Bangladesh have been poor in the field today. Wicketkeeper Mushfiqur has dropped three catches and the ground fielding too has been sloppy.

20.51: FIFTY for Rohit Sharma! 26th in ODIs for the Indian opener. India 84/0 (14.3 overs).
20.28: Confusion at Mirpur! What just happened there? A superb delivery from Mortaza takes the inside edge off Dhawan's bat and goes to the keeper. The umpire, who hasn't noticed that the keeper spilled it, gave Dhawan out. The batsman started walking and the fielders picked up the ball and broke the stumps. After a lot confusion and Bangladesh's appeals, umpires rule that as not out. Dhawan stays, Bangladesh continue to hunt for a wicket. India 66/0 (10 overs)
20.25: FOUR! Rubel digs one short, Rohit suavely swivels and pulls it to the square leg fence. What a treat to watch, this man! India 62/0 (8.4 overs) v Bangladesh 307.
20.17: FOUR! As effortless as it gets! A full delivery has been caressed through covers as the fielders hardly move. What a shot, indeed. India 45/0 (6.4 overs)
20.15: SIX! Rohit spots a short ball from Mustafizur and pulls it over square leg for maximum. The very next ball, Rohit reaches out and pushes at a ball with good enough timing to send it to the fence on the off-side.
20.14: The going has been tough so far but Dhawan and Rohit are treading along as India reach 31/0 in 6 overs. Bangladesh are bowling well but need wickets to show for their efforts.
20.03: FOUR! Shikhar Dhawan breaks the shackles! Taskin pitches one up and the classy left-hander drives it beautifully through covers. India 17/0 (4 overs)
19.49: Scratchy start from the Indian openers here. Taskin Ahmed has had a couple of big shouts of LBW against Rohit Sharma turned down. India 7/0 (2 overs)
19.47: Superb first over from debutant Mustafizur Rahman. Just one run, off the last ball, off it. India 1/0 (1 over)
19.42: Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan walk out to begin India's innings.
19.02: Shakib-al-Hasan: I think we are 25 runs short. We lost a few wickets towards the end. We need to bowl really well.
19.00: Bangladesh 307 all out after fifties from Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar and Shakib-al-Hasan. Ashwin's efforts with the ball helped India pull things back after a solid start from the home side. Will this total be enough for Bangladesh to stun India early in the series?
18.57: Mortaza goes after Mohit, smashes two successive fours and takes Bangladesh past 300.
18.53: Bangladesh are nine down! Bhuvneshwar Kumar sends Taskin packing as a leading edge is comfortable taken by Kohli at covers. Bangladesh 298/9 (48.5 overs)
18.51: Meanwhile at Galle, Kumar Sangakkara's 50 and Kaushal SIlva's unbeaten 80 have guided Sri Lanka to 178/3 at stumps on Day 2 v Pakistan.
18.47: Bangladesh reach 294/8 in 48 overs. How much beyond 300 can they go?
18.40: Nasir Hossain is gone! Superb catch by Ravindra Jadeja, running backwards at point. Bangladesh 282/7 (46 overs)
18.31: And Dhoni is back behind the stumps. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the ball as Bangladesh reach 267/6 in 44 overs. How much more can they get in the last six overs?
18.28: Shakib is gone! Umesh Yadav bowls a poor short ball, way outside the off-stump but Shakib chases it and tamely cuts it to Ravindra Jadeja at point. Bangladesh 267/6 (43.4 overs) v India.
18.25: Virat Kohli has taken MS Dhoni's place behind the stumps (without keeping pads) as the Indian skipper has gone off the field.
18.19: FIFTY for Shakib! He gets there off 63 balls. It has been a hard-fought knock. Bangladesh 253/5 (41.3 overs) v India
18.14: Bangladesh have reached 245/5 In 40 overs and Virat Kohli is into the attack! Tricky but inevitable move as Mohit has conceded 45 in his four overs.
18.06: Ravindra Jadeja strikes! Dhoni's blue-eyed boy has broken a vital partnership here! Sabbir is bowled, after attempting to play a sweep shot and missing by a fair distance as the ball crashed onto the off-stump. Bangladesh 229/5 (37.5 overs)
17.57: SIX! Sabbir goes big and clears the long on fence, off Ashwin. Bangladesh 221/4 (36.1 overs)
17.54: It's time for the batting powerplay. Can Jadeja sneak a wicket here?
17.50: Superb over for Bangladesh as Shakib (37*) and Sabbir (32*) take 15 off Mohit Sharma. Bangladesh 213/4 (35 overs)
17.43: A key 50-run stand between Shakib al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman has pulled Bangladesh out of the wreckage but there is still a lot of work to do. Bangladesh reach 200/4 in 34.1 overs. How much more can they get?
17.23: Suresh Raina finishes with tidy figures of 0/40 in his 10 overs. Bangladesh 168/4 (29 overs)

17.17: MS Dhoni has pulled things back wonderfully here after Bangladesh were off to a sensational start. He has been patient for the first breakthrough and has unleashed his spinners ever since to apply the brakes. Bangladesh need Shakib to stay on and propel them towards the end of the innings.
17.07: Ravi Ashwin is on an absolute roll here! He entices Mushfiqur to dance down the track and take the aerial route. But Mushfiqur fails to put enough power behind his shot and Rohit Sharma collects a fairly simple catch at long-on. Bangladesh 146/4, 23.3 overs.

16.55: Another one for Ashwin! Superb delivery from the Indian spinner! He tosses one up and forces Litton Das to stretch out and attempt a drive. The diminutive batsman goes for it but doesn't get to the pitch of the ball and misses his shot. The ball turns sharply to hit the front pad in line. Straightforward decision for the umpire. Litton goes for 8, Bangladesh 129/3 (19.4 overs)
16.45: Ashwin strikes! What a massive wicket for India right after the rain break. Tamim Iqbal goes inside out but can't clear Rohit Sharma at long-off. Tamim goes for 60. Bangladesh 123/2 (17.3 overs)
16.38: Good news as players are back on the field. It was a brief break and no overs have been lost. Bangladesh resume on 119/1 in 15.4 overs.
16.33: The latest news is that play is set to resume at 17.10 local time - that is under 10 minutes from now.
16.18: News coming in from Mirpur is that the covers are being taken off.

15.44: More cricket in Bangladesh, more rain and more frustrating wait.
Rain has interrupted play at Mirpur. However, it is only a light drizzle. #BanvsInd pic.twitter.com/hJqJDmBAg5
- BCCI (@BCCI) June 18, 2015
15.40: There we go then! The players are going off the field. The drizzle is looking a lot heavier now as fans take cover under umbrellas. Bangladesh are on 119/1 in 15.4 overs
15.37: Oh dear! Rain drops are starting to appear in Mirpur. The play is going on but the question is for how long?
15.35: Fifty for Tamim! He too gets there with a boundary! He gets there off 50 balls and keeps Bangladesh's charge afloat. Bangladesh 113/1 (15)
15.31: OUT! India needed a moment of brilliance to break this stand and Raina provided just that. A bit of hesitation and yes-no situation between the two set batsmen and Raina grabs the opportunity, pounces on the ball and unleashes a direct hit to send Sarkar packing on 54. Bangladesh 102/1 (13.4)
15.23: A cheeky upper cut and that's fifty for Soumya Sarkar! He gets there off just 38 balls. It's his second in ODIs. That boundary also brings up 100 for Bangladesh. What a start for the hosts, indeed.

15.18: It's only the first ODI and records are already tumbling!

15.15: Just three runs off Ashwin's over but what a start for Bangladesh! They've raced away to 79/0 in 10 overs.
15.10: Dhoni stands up to the stumps but there is no stopping the onslaught. Poor, length ball from Mohit and Tamim lifts him for a one-bounce four over mid-on. (Bangladesh 76/0, 9 overs)
15.07: Mohit Sharma comes into the attack and Sarkar welcomes him with a dance down the track and flick through mid-wicket for four.
15.05: FOUR more! Poor stuff from Ashwin. He bowls one outside the legstump and Sarkar sweeps well for another boundary. 11 runs off the over. (Bangladesh 66/0, 8 overs)
15.05: FOUR! Ashwin tosses one up from round the stumps and Sarkar drives it handsomely through the off-side.
15.03: Ravichandran Ashwin into the attack and starts off with a wide down the leg side. He has a slip and a leg slip in place for Soumya Sarkar.
15.01: FOUR! Soumya Sarkar gets into the act now! Bhuvneshwar comes around the wicket and digs it short but there is no pace on the delivery, Sarkar comfortably pulls it to the mid-wicket fence. (Bangladesh 55/0, 7 overs).
14.57: SIX! Tamim rounds up Umesh's over by coming down the track and carting a six over the long off fence. Tamim has collected 18 runs off the over! (Bangladesh 45/0, 6 overs)
14.55: FOUR! What a shot from Tamim! Umesh bowls from around the stumps and digs it a little short. Tamim stands tall and pulls it to the mid-on fence.
14.54: The Bangladesh openers are starting to up the ante here. Tamim goes after Umesh and carts one over the off-side for a four.
14.53: Dropped? No, just falling short! Tamim Iqbal pushes forward at an Umesh Yadav delivery and the outside edge just falls short of Shikhar Dhawan in the slips.
14.51: Another tight over from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Six runs from it. (Bangladesh 27/0, 5 overs)
14.50: Ravichandran Ashwin is off the field, getting some 'ice treatment' on his right hand. Ambati Rayudu is on the field for him.
14.48: Interesting move from Dhoni, brings in a leg slip for Tamim Iqbal against Bhuvneshwar.
14.46: Umesh recovers well after conceding the boundary. Seven runs off the over. (Bangladesh 21/0, 4 overs)
14.44: FOUR! Sarkar goes after a poor delivery from Umesh. Full and outside the off-stump, the left-hander drives it well through covers.
14.41: FOUR! A rare misfield for Virat Kohli at mid-off. Iqbal drives a full ball from Bhuvneshwar which should have been cut off by a diving Kohli. But the Indian Test skipper goes all over the ball and it runs away to the fence. (Bangladesh 14/0, 3 overs)
14.39: Bhuvneshwar Kumar oversteps but does well to beat Tamim's bat in the free hit delivery.
14.36: Now ever Sarkar attempts a pull and misses. Dhoni needs a fielder or two in the mid-wicket region.Three runs off the second over. (Bangladesh 8/0, 2 overs)
14.34: Now then! Umesh Yadav bowls the second over and Tamim charges down the track and swings wildly. He misses but the intentions are clear.
14.32: A hint of movement back into the left-hander for Bhuvneshwar but nothing to trouble the two batsmen. Five runs from the first over. (Bangladesh 5/0, 1 over)
14.29: Bhuvneshwar Kumar starts the proceedings for India. He missed out in the World Cup but had a very good IPL. Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar open the batting for Bangladesh.
14.16: Ravindra Jadeja: They have a very good batting line-up. They played very well in the World Cup. We are not taking them lightly.
14.12: BANGLADESH: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib-al-Hasan, Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed
14.11: INDIA : Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma
14.03: Bangladesh name two debutants - Litton Das and Mustafizur Rahman.
14.02: BANGLADESH win toss, opt to bat vs India. MS Dhoni returns to lead the ODI side.
13.54: The Indian team is out practicing and unsurprisingly, MS Dhoni is doing a bit of bowling.
