India's new Test captain Virat Kohli has laid down the blueprint for the team's success in the future - a combination of fitness and skill levels. (India have learnt a lot, it's time to start winning Tests: Kohli)
Talking at a media conference ahead of India's tour to Bangladesh, Kohli stressed on the need to work on fitness levels.
"Fitness is an area we need to strengthen. So there are less injuries and we can play similar set of players to build a match-winning combination in Test cricket," Kohli said. (Kohli says he won't change his leadership style)

"If we strengthen fitness in six to eight months from now, it will help us 3-4 years in the future with guys coming through tough phases of Test cricket because they're up there with the fitness level and skill level as well. (Rahul Dravid to coach India A, Under-19 Teams)
It has to be a combination of both, and that is what we primarily want to focus on. We feel that we can improve on and it is most definitely the need of the hour in Test cricket," the young India Test skipper said.
India travel to Bangladesh for a one-off Test match, starting on June 10.
