FIFA World Cup 2018, Highlights Argentina vs Iceland: Lionel Messi-led Argentina laboured throughout against Iceland and managed only a 1-1 draw.
Iceland produced a defensive masterclass to share the spoils against Argentina in their Group D clash at the Spartak stadium in Russia on Saturday. Number 11 Alfred Finnbogason made the most of some chaotic defending by Argentina and scored the goal in the 23rd minute. Lionel Messi and Meza got close for Argentina but Iceland kept them under check. Iceland were happy to give Argentina the ball possession in the first half given they didn't concede. Argentina play Croatia on June 21 while Iceland take on Nigeria the next day on June 22.
