After being put in to bat, India got off to a worst possible start as they lost three wickets inside powerplay. Kedar Jadhav then rescued the innings and his brilliant knock of 58, backed up a quickfire 20* from Axar Patel lifted India to a competitive total of 138/6. In reply, Vusi Sibanda and Peter Moor led Zimbabwe's chase and at one stage it looked like that they would get over the line easily. But Indian bowlers then struck at regular intervals and it all went down to the last over. With 21 runs required, Timycen Maruma hit 12 runs off the first two balls and gave the hosts a real chance of doing the unthinkable. But Sran held his nerve on the last three balls and guided India to a series victory. Catch all the highlights of the match between India vs Zimbabwe here. (SCORECARD | NEWS)
20:30 hrs IST: That's it. Thank you for tuning in. Until next time, it's goodbye. Cheers!ÂÂ
MS Dhoni (India's skipper): "Usually in this format, the games get close. Zimbabwe did well, bowled well. They need more games to get better. Difficult one, we did what was right to put in the opposition (in the ODIs). Right way to play cricket. Fast bowling department, we need a good pool of players. Now we can proudly say we have 10-12 players who can play. Important to turn up for India. Personally I feel we got more from the T20s than the ODIs."
Graeme Cremer (Zimbabwe's skipper): "It was disappointing to not get across the line. But we fought, credit to India. We knew we had to compete because ODIs were a tough beating. I am happy the guys came together and nearly won it."
Barinder Sran (Man of the Series):  "21 runs is a lot for the final over. i was confident we were going to win. Started with a different plan but then changed."
Kedar Jadhav is the Man of the Match for his excellent innings of 58.ÂÂ

Zimbabwe need to summon a lot of batting discipline if they want to score a historic T20 series win against India at home. After drawing first blood, Zimbabwe crashed to a horror defeat in the second T20 largely due to their inept batting.
Full credit to India's quick bowlers - Barinder Sran and Jasprit Bumrah took eight wickets between them on Monday - for taking full advantage of poor application by the Zimbabweans. Sran's four-for was a career high while Bumrah remains India's lead quickie in the absence of seniors.
Bumrah is chasing a piece of history. He needs three more wickets to equal Dirk Nannes' record of most T20 international wickets in a year. Nannes took 27 wickets in 2010, Bumrah has 24 from 18 matches so far in 2016.
India are unlikely to tamper with the XI that won the second T20. For Hamilton Masakadza, this will be his 50th T20 international. A good batting show from the veteran opener and the top order is just what Zimbabwe will hope for on a big day.
