Guyanese left-hander Leon Johnson will lead the West Indies Cricket Board President's XI in a two-day tour match against the visiting Indian team.
The match begins on Saturday at Warner Park in St Kitts.
Johnson, who has scored 275 runs in four Tests, is among the six Test players in the side. India will play two tour matches. The next game, a three-day affair, will be played at the same venue from July 14.
Having made his Test debut against Bangladesh in 2014, Johnson averages 39.28 in the longer format of the game. Middle-order batsman Jermaine Blackwood, opener Rajendra Chandrika, wicketkeeper-batsmen Shane Dowrich and Shai Hope, as well as left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican are other Test playing members in the WICB squad.
The Indian side, led by Virat Kohli, is scheduled to play the first Test of four-match series at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua from July 21.
The second Test will be played at Jamaica's Sabina Park from July 30. The third Test in Gros Islet's Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium will be played from August 9.
The fourth and final Test will be played between the two sides at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad from August 18.
India and West Indies have played 12 Tests in the last 10 years.
India have won six while the West Indies have no victories. India won the last series 1-0.
