Legendary women's tennis player Steffi Graf may be approached to become the ambassador of Kerala tourism. If approached and if she agrees, Graf will specifically work to take Ayurveda to the masses around the world.
Graf, a 22-time Grand Slam winner, has a massive global fan following which makes her an ideal face to promote Ayurveda.
Reports also suggest that the Kerala state government is in talks with several high-profile celebrities - including Shah Rukh Khan. What makes Graf a sought after candidate though is that she has spoken about Ayurveda on several media events and on her social media accounts.
Considered one of the greatest women's tennis player ever, Graf was No. 1 for a record 377 weeks through the course of her career. Her achievements on the tennis court are still hailed by fans all over and if Graf indeed becomes the brand ambassador for Ayurveda, Kerala can expect a massive boost in international tourism.
