Sri Lanka Include Vishwa Fernando In Test Squad For India Series
Vishwa Fernando has been added in the 16-man Sri Lankan squad for the upcoming Test series against India.

Sri Lanka called up uncapped 23-year-old pacer Vishwa Fernando into their 16-member squad on Friday for the three-Test series against India starting on August 12. (Mathews Begs Sangakkara To Not Retire)
Fernando has had a modest outing in the ongoing warm-up game against India in Colombo. He failed to pick up a wicket in the first innings but picked up the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Wriddhiman Saha in the second innings. (Highlights: Sri Lanka Board President XI v India)
Fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has also been selected, subject to his recovering fully from a side strain he suffered during the series against Pakistan last month, a statement from the Sri Lanka Cricket said.
Injured pacer Suranga Lakmal and batsman Kithuruwan Vithanage were left out of the squad that played against Pakistan.

Angelo Mathews (Captain), Lahiru Thirimanna, Kaushal Silva, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kumar Sangakkara, Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga, Jehan Mubarak, Kusal Janith Perera, Rangana Herath, Dilruwan Perera, Tharindu Kaushal, Nuwan Pradeep, Dhammika Prasad, Vishwa Fernando, Dushmantha Chameera (subject to fitness).
