10.20 (IST): GOLD MEDAL FOR INDIA! India have beaten Iran 27-25 to win their seventh Asian Games gold in men's kabaddi.
10.12 (IST): Another tackle! India make another good tackle to take a two-point lead. They are now up 26-24 vs Iran. Just two minutes to go.

Still 10 medals away from their 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games haul of 65, India could still finish a creditable sixth if they can win the two kabaddi golds at stake on Friday. India will start strong favourites in a sport they have dominated over the years and both finals will be India versus Iran affairs.
Far away from the hullabaloo of athletics and hockey or boxing, two young women have played themselves into medal contention in taekwondo. Shaloo Raikwar (under 73 kg) and Maria Regi (over 73 kg) will be contesting in the women's quarterfinals at the Ganghwa Dolmens Gymnasium. A win will take them to a medal.

Indian men will be chasing an unprecedented eighth Asian Games gold medal. India have always won the gold ever since kabaddi sport was added in the 1990 Games. They have looked strong in Incheon. India beat South Korea in the semifinal. India had earlier beaten Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand to top Group A with an all-win record.
Defending champions India stayed on course for their second consecutive Asian Games gold medal in women's kabaddi. India defeated 2010 silver medallist Thailand 41-28 in the semi-final at the Songdo Global University Gymnasium. Iran thrashed Bangladesh 40-15 in the other semi-final.
In 2010, the total medals won by the Indian contingent at the Asian Games was 65 -- comprising 14 gold, 17 silver and 34 bronze -- a month after a record haul of 101, including 38 gold, in the Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi. In Incheon, China continue to lead with 322 medals (142 gold). Will India ever get closer?
