Dwayne Bravo consistently bowled in the blockhole in a tense finish as Chennai Super Kings prevailed over a weakened SunRisers Hyderabad by four runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match to consolidate their position at the top of the points table on Sunday. Winning the toss, Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson opted to field. CSK started slow but were powered to 182/3, courtesy Ambati Rayudu's smashing knock of 79 off only 37 balls and Suresh Raina's brisk 43-ball 54. The visiting team then stopped the hosts at 178 for six, with medium pacer Deepak Chahar doing the bulk of the damage. Needing 33 runs in the last two overs, Yusuf Pathan and Rashid Khan blasted a six each off Shardul Thakur in the penultimate over. Given the responsibility of bowling the final over with SRH requiring 19 runs, the composed Dwayne Bravo was hit for six and a four by Rashid to bring the equation to six off one. Bravo managed to get it on the blockhole and Rashid could only manage a single. (Scorecard)
Earlier, Ambati Rayudu (79) blizzard coupled with a calculated innings by Suresh Raina (54) powered Chennai Super Kings to a competitive 182/3 in 20 overs against SunRisers Hyderabad. Winning the toss, Kane Williamson opted to field and this decision bore fruit as the visitors struggled to score runs freely in the first 10 overs as they lost both their openers early and cheaply. SRH bowling department was at their very best as Chennai registered the lowest powerplay total of the IPL 2018 season. However, Raina and Rayudu steadied the innings and slowly changed the complexion of the match with boundaries. Soon after scoring his fifty, Rayudu changed his gear and smashed the ball all around the park thus upping the ante and increasing the run-rate as well. However, a mix-up in the middle forced Rayudu to return back and leave his innings incomplete.
MS Dhoni, the new batsman in, did not take any time to settle and started scoring boundaries from the word go. Dhoni's 12-ball 25 helped Chennai to post a solid total on board after his team were off to a slow start. For SunRisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar ended the match with figures of 1/22. Apart from him Rashid Khan chipped in with a wicket but was costly.

The job of every individual becomes easy. What is important someone soaks up the pressure. Imran Tahir is not fit so Faf comes to his place."
15:40 IST:Â Kane Williamson -- "We'll bowl. Not a strong advantage as the wicket remains similar generally. They have a strong batting line-up the Chennai side so it's important we do the job first up. Billy Stanlake comes in for CJ and Ricky Bhui makes his debut, comes in for Shikhar. He (Dhawan) adds to any team so his inclusion would be good. It's a good chance for Ricky who's an exciting young talent. Think Shikhar will be ready for the next match. It's always a tough game. We'll play at the best of our ability and I am sure it'll be another good game."

15:00 IST: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the SunRisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings match straight from Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
In their previous match, it was Australian buy Shane Watson whose scintillating knock of 106 runs propelled CSK to a massive total. Also, Chennai's most dependable batsman Suresh Raina, who made a comeback after undergoing a calf injury, also looked good for his 29-ball 46 against RR. In the bowling department, all-rounder Watson has led from the front, scalping six wickets from four games with an economy rate of 7.38. Also, pacer Shardul Thakur and leggie Imran Tahir have stricken at regular intervals, bagging five and four wickets respectively.
On the other hand, the Kane Williamson-led Hyderabad are at the third spot in the points table with three wins from four games.
On paper, SRH possess one of the strongest batting lineups with Wriddhiman Saha
and in-form Shikhar Dhawan as openers followed by skipper Williamson along with Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, and Shakib Al Hasan.
However, in their last outing against KXIP, their batters failed in chasing a high total.
Meanwhile, with the likes Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Siddarth Kaul and Shakib Al Hasan, their bowling unit looks world-class. Both Bhuvneshwar and Kaul have bagged five and six wickets respectively.
Also, Bhuvneshwar and Kaul have maintained a decent economy rate of 6.75 and 7.25 respectively. Rashid has so far bowled the most dot balls in the league.
Overall, it could once again be an edge of the seat encounter for fans when the two best side of the league face off on a Sunday evening.
