Brilliant catch from Gurkeerat. Full ball and Buttler mistimes the lofted shot to wide long off, Gurkeerat settles underneath it near the boundary, he is near the rope as he catches it but throws it up as he jumps over the ropes, he jumps back and takes the catch cleanly. 20:36 hrs IST: Tim Southee is padded up. Will Mumbai Indians repeat the experiment with Mitchell McClenaghan against Kolkata Knight Riders?
20:35 hrs IST: Mumbai Indians are continuing to make slow progress. KC Cariappa comes into the attack and he immediately troubles Rohit as he gets a leading edge to a delivery that spins away. Luckily for the skipper, it lands safely.
20: 29 hrs IST: WHAM! Nitish Rana breaks the shackles by slamming Mohit Sharma over long leg for a big six. This might probably get Mumbai Indians going. After six overs, they are 21/2, which is the lowest powerplay score in this edition.
20:25 hrs IST: Only two runs conceded by Sandeep in the fifth over. This is a very poor start for Mumbai Indians.

19:14 hrs IST: Mumbai Indians will be aiming to put on an improved show in their new 'home' venue. In their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, they were shot out for 92, resulting in an 85-run thrashing.
19:10 hrs IST: A warm welcome to the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab from Vizag. With five teams vying for four spots, it is important that Mumbai Indians win this match and put themselves in a good spot for the knock-outs.

Five teams are batting for four spots. Only two points separate them. Sunrisers Hyderabad are on top while Mumbai Indians are at the tail-end of the play-off race. A slip-up at this stage could prove to be fatal for the teams. A win for Mumbai Indians will put them a step closer in the play-offs while a loss could give the other four teams as well as Royal Challengers Bangalore a life-line.
Mumbai Indians Peak At Right Time
After a slow start, Rohit Sharma's team are peaking at the right time. Despite a thumping 85-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad, they bounced back in style with an important win over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Innovative captaincy and brilliant bowling were the key factors in their win. They will also take heart from the fact that the batting is clicking despite Rohit Sharma's slump. They will aim to put on a better show in their 'home' ground of Vizag, where they were shot out for 92 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kings XI Punjab Plagued With Problem of Plenty
There are problems on the field. There are problems off the field. It has been a miserable IPL 2016 for Kings XI Punjab. According to reports, the owner of KXIP, Priety Zinta, allegedly abused the coach Sanjay Bangar after their one-run loss to RCB and this has only distracted them heading into the match.
There is too much reliance on Murali Vijay and Marcus Stoinis in the batting. David Miller has been woeful while Glenn Maxwell is struggling with form and injury. The omission of Axar Patel in the previous match raised eyebrows and he might come back for this match as KXIP look to derail Mumbai Indians' push for the knock-outs.
