After a resounding win in their opening game against defending champions Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Supergiants are yet to strike a purple patch. Four defeats in-a-row for a team high on experience is unthinkable for a side under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captaincy.
RPS face an upbeat SRH. David Warner has led Sunrisers from the front and after a string of failures, Shikhar Dhawan has started to fire. The omens look good for Hyderabad.
SRH's biggest strength has been their bowling unit. Mustafizur Rahman has been a revelation in his first IPL and the left-arm Bangladeshi seamer has combined really well with right-arm medium pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Warner has certainly not missed an injured Ashish Nehra.
Dhoni's side have to put in a super giant like performance to keep its hopes alive for a playoff berth. The onus will once again be on his batting pillars - Faf du Plessis and Steve Smith. The Australian captain is yet to play to his enormous potential.
