Indian Premier League 2016 opening ceremony got off to a a sizzling start with Jacqueline Fernandez sending the temperatures soaring with her opening act. We are expecting a blockbuster show with international star Chris Brown and Electronic group Mazer Lazer performing. That the IPL is a world stage is amply clear. Friday night's IPL opening ceremony will be seen in 32 countries live and mega popstar Chris Brown will make his debut in India. Brown will get some 'competition' from Honey Singh!
Two hours of the mega entertainment will also see Dwayne Bravo in action. 'DJ' Bravo, the West Indian all-rounder who specializes in T20 cricket, will perform his 'Champion' number. This song has been made popular by West Indian players during the T20 World Cup.

According to the organisers of the opening ceremony, special technology from China is expected to make the opening ceremony a sight to watch.
Last year's opening ceremony also had a huge slice of Bollywood. Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma performed on a sizzling night Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium.
Well-known electronic group, Major Lazer, will also enthrall the fans.
