IPL 8: Fan Injured During Warm-up Session at PCA Stadium
A cricketer is believed to have played a shot that struck a boy on his chest ahead of Kings XI Punjab's match against Chennai Super Kings.

A boy was injured when a ball hit him on his chest during a warm-up practice session ahead of final IPL league match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings at PCA stadium here on Saturday. (Also read: Chennai thrash Punjab)
Some reports said that KXIP batsman David Miller was practicing the pull shot close to the boundary rope in front of the Gate 14 stand when he hit one straight into the stands that hit the boy on his chest.

PCA Chief Executive Officer Brig G S Sandhu (retd) said that a boy had been injured and provided immediate medical aid at the PCA itself.
He, however, could not confirm if the shot was hit by Miller. The boy had later also been taken to a hospital for X-ray and other tests, sources said.
