Kings XI Punjab snapped Rajasthan Royals winning streak in style by winning the first super over of the IPL season. Chasing a massive 192 to win, Kings XI got off to a disastrous start by losing Virende Sehwag early but a fifties from Shaun Marsh and David Miller took the Kings XI into the super over.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals posted 191/6 in a bid to maintain their unbeaten run in the Indian Premier League 2015. A sensational 74 from Ajinkya Rahane and a solid 45 from Shane Watson gave Royals a blistering start and the Kings XI were only left to play catch up.

Indian Premier League 2015 table-toppers Rajasthan Royals, who have won all their five matches so far, will look to extend their winning streak tonight, when they take on Kings XI Punjab. The Royals, blessed with Steve Smith, Shane Watson, Ajinkya Rahane, James Faulkner and Tim Southee have been in red-hot form and their demolition of Chennai Super Kings was a warning signal to all other teams.
The Royals have been perennial underdogs despite winning the inaugural edition in 2008. But not anymore. They have a great blend of youth and experience in their ranks and most captains would be wary coming up against this lot. But the dream run could come to an end sometime and it could well be against Kings XI Punjab.
KXIP, who finished runners-up in 2014, have failed to fire despite the presence of Murali Vijay, Virender Sehwag, George Bailey, David Miller, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Johnson in their ranks. All they need is for one of these men to have a great day and even the in-form Royals could be gasping for breath.
It should be a cracker of a match. KXIP will come hard at the Royals, especially after losing their first match against them this season. Can the Royals hold their own and extend the winning run to six matches?
