Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets. Catch all the highlights here: (Scorecard | Commentary | Points Table | Schedule)
23.30 (IST): David Warner: Importantly we won and credit to Shikhar for back to back fifties. I love batting at the top of the order and I also enjoyed batting in the middle order. I obviously like to hit as many over the boundary.
23.29 (IST): Darren Sammy: We have been rising to the challenge, looking to control what we can. Good thing we bowled first. Credit to Warner and Dhawan. After a few games you tend to look for ways to improve, and Warner has always been better up the order. We can just hope things go in our favour.
23.17 (IST): MS Dhoni: We have to address the losses. We have lost a few games very easily. The easier thing would be to chase in each and every game. I went in and ate up quite a few deliveries but 185 was a decent score but under par. I think we needed 230, our new ball bowlers are not getting wickets with the new ball.
23.13 (IST): Sunrisers beat Chennai by 6 wickets to keep playoff hopes alive. Warner 90 (45 balls), Dhawan 64 not out (50 balls).
23.00 (IST): SIX! Finch comes down the track and hits a six off Raina on the first ball he faces (SRH 175/2, 17.3 overs)
22.59 (IST): OUT! Naman Ojha (17) is gone, caught by Negi at deep square leg off Raina (SRH 168/2, 17.2 overs)
22.55 (IST): FIFTY for Dhawan, off 40 balls! It's his 18th in IPL! He is leading the way after Warner's early onslaught in this massive chase. SRH now need 26 to win from 21 balls.
22.48 (IST): SIX! Dhawan brings up SRH's 150 with a six over deep square leg (SRH 155/1, 15.2 overs)
22.42 (IST): SIX! Naman Ojha hits one big and straight off Pawan Negi (SRH 143/1 14.1 overs)
22.40 (IST): Shikhar Dhawan is shifting gears here! He gets a six and a four off two balls from Jadeja to keep his side on track. (SRH 137/1, 14 overs, need 47 to win from 36 balls)
22.32 (IST): Warner is gone! He is bowled by John Hastings! He goes for a brilliant 90 off 45 balls! The question is, has he done enough? Or does his wicket spell doom for SRH? (SRH 116/1, 11.2 overs)
22.28 (IST): 100-run stand for the first wicket! Warner (80 off 40) and Dhawan (16 off 21) have added a 100-run stand for the first wicket. Sunrisers now need 86 runs to win from 60 balls.
ÂÂ
22.24 (IST): SIX! Warner is on a roll here! He celebrates the 500-run mark with a six over deep mid-wicket off the next ball. He has moved into the 70s. (SRH 89/0, 8.3 overs)
22.23 (IST): FOUR! 500 IPL 7 runs for David Warner! What magnificent batting from the Australian!
22.20 (IST): Sunrisers Hyderabad are on track in their chase of 186. They have 76/0 in just 8 overs with Warner getting 64 off those runs.
22.09 (IST): FIFTY for David Warner! His 16th in IPL! He is leading Sunrisers's chase in a must-win game brilliantly. His fifty has come off 25 balls. (SRH 64/0, 6 overs)
21.55 (IST): David Warner is dealing in boundaries here! He gets two back-to-back fours off Mohit Sharma. Pressure on the Indian bowler (SRH 30/0, 2.2 overs)
21.52 (IST): SIX! Warner hits one straight of Ashwin. Sunrisers will need him to cart a handful of those if his team are to stay alive (SRH 17/0, 1.2 overs)
21.50 (IST): Good start for Sunrisers Hyderabad with David Warner hitting Mohit Sharma for two fours. (SRH 10/0, 1 over)
21.32 (IST): MS Dhoni smashed 24 runs off Dale Steyn in the 20th over to lift Chennai to big total. Dhoni 57* (41 balls, 4x6s) and David Hussey 50* (33 balls, 2x6s) put on 108 (68 balls)
21.28 (IST): Chennai 185/3 vs Hyderabad. Dhoni 57*, Hussey 50*; Karn Sharma 2/19ÂÂ
21.24 (IST): Fifth IPL fifty for David Hussey, off 33 balls. (CSK 160/3, 18.5 overs)
21.21 (IST): SIX! Hussey finishes Irfan's over with a big heave over deep mid-wicket (CSK 154/3, 18 overs)
21.17 (IST): SIX! Hussey picks up a slower one from Irfan and smashes it over long off fence (CSK 145/3, 17.1overs)
21.14 (IST): SIX! MS Dhoni hits Bhuvneshwar for a six over long on where Finch almost caught it. How costly is that miss going to be? (CSK 136/3, 16.2 overs)
21.08 (IST): FOUR! David Hussey hits Darren Sammy for a four behind square (CSK 121/3, 15.1 overs)
21.02 (IST): SIX! Dhoni smacks one over the long on fence off Irfan Pathan (CSK 111/3, 14.3 overs)
21.00 (IST): With relatively two new batsmen at the crease -- David Hussey and MS Dhoni -- Dale Steyn bowls a terrific over. Four dot balls and two singles off it. Brings up the 100 for Chennai. (CSK 100/3, 14 overs)
20.55 (IST): News coming in today is that IPL's head Sunil Gavaskar revealed that two players were approached by bookies in the ongoing season of the IPL.
20.44 (IST): Karn Sharma finishes with exceptional figures of 2/19 in 4 overs, including 13 dot balls.
20.38 (IST): OUT! Karn Sharma strikes again! He gets the big wicket of Suresh Raina this time, who skies one straight up in the air and is taken by Aaron Finch at the boundary line. (CSK 77/3, 8.3 overs)
20.33 (IST): David Hussey join Suresh Raina in the middle.
20.29 (IST): GONE! Dwayne Smith's six-hitting stay at the crease has been cut short by Karn Sharma! He goes for 47 off 28 balls, trapped in front of the stumps by Karn Sharma. (CSK 68/2, 6.5 overs)
20.23 (IST): Flurry of Sixes! Dwayne Smith's incredible form continues! He welcomes Parvez Rasool with a hat-trick of sixes! It brings up the 50 for Chennai. They're cruising at the moment. (CSK 60/1, 6 overs)
20.15 (IST): Oh dear! Faf du Plessis (19) is gone! That's an unfortunate way to get out. Bowler Karn Sharma got his fingers to Smith's straight drive that went on to hit the stumps at the non-striker's end with Du Plessis out of his crease. (CSK 33/1, 3.3 overs)
20.13 (IST): The early blitz has forced Darren Sammy to turn to his spinners as early as in the fourth over. Karn Sharma to bowl the fourth over.
20.10 (IST): What an onslaught from the Chennai openers early on! They have 30 runs on board and 28 off them have come off fours. They've already forced Bhuvneshwar to have his wicketkeeper stand up to the stumps and negate any early swing.
20.08 (IST): What a start for Chennai! First Smith collects three fours off Bhuvneshwar and then Faf du Plessis gets three in the Steyn over (CSK 24/0, 2 overs)
20.07 (IST): FOUR! Faf du Plessis hits a cracking shot down the down off Steyn (CSK 20/0, 1.4 overs)
20.04 (IST): Dwayne Smith starts off in trademark style! He gets three boundaries -- two through the off-side and one straight past the bowler -- off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. (CSK 12/0 in 1 over)
ÂÂ
19.36 (IST): Toss! Hyderabad skipper Darren Sammy opt to bowl first against Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni says he does not mind losing the toss as he was looking to bat anyway.

Preview
Chennai Super Kings would be aiming to quickly get over their consecutive defeats against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore when they host an unpredictable Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League today.
Chennai have 16 points from eight wins and four losses in 12 matches. Hyderabad, on the other hand, are second from bottom with 10 points after managing just five wins in their 12 games.
Openers Dwayne Smith and Brendon McCullum, both of whom have contributed well to CSK's campaign so far, failed to get going on and would be aiming to make amends on Thursday. Suresh Raina pulled off his third fifty of this IPL season and looks to be peaking just at the right time. Faf du Plessis, however, remains a slight concern as he is yet to come up with a noteworthy knock for his side.
Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, on the other hand, has been going about his job without much hullabaloo even though he is without a fifty this season.
On the bowling front, some of Chennai's frailties stood exposed after reliable pacer Mohit Sharma failed to fetch a wicket.
Mohit has been the bowling star for Chennai this season, having taken 18 wickets at an impressive average of 15.22. He is currently second in the highest wicket-takers' list in this season.
Hyderabad, in contrast, are all but out of contention. Besides being required to win their remaining two matches, Darren Sammy's Hyderabad need a few other results to go their way for sneaking inside the top four but that looks unlikely. (Read more)
Sunrisers Hyderabad Skipper Darren Sammy Confident of Reaching Playoffs
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Darren Sammy is hopeful that his side will qualify for the knock-out stage after their seven-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a must-win Indian Premier League game at Hyderabad. Hyderabad (sixth spot) and Bangalore have 10 points each with the latter taking the fifth spot in the points table due to marginally better Net Run Rate.
"It feels good, to win a crunch game. We have not played well so far, but we still have a chance to qualify. We have to play well in the next couple of matches," Sammy said. (Read more)
