"Having a good tournament, enjoying my bowling, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli wickets are very important for me. We were talking in our meeting, he (Gayle) does not hit the ball going away, that was our plan. If you lose early wickets it gets difficult. We have chased close to 200 quite a few times at this ground but it does not happen every time," he said.

PREVIEW
The spotlight will be firmly on Glenn Maxwell and Royal Challengers Bangalore's Chris Gayle as the two power-hitters gear up to lead a dazzling array of strokemakers, with the high-flying Kings XI Punjab seeking to maintain their stranglehold in IPL-7 in Bangalore on Friday.
Maxwell fell within touching distance of a century for the fourth time in the competition but that was enough to power his team, Kings XI Punjab, to a comprehensive win over Chennai Super Kings and occupy the top slot.
A carnage, once again, appears to be on the cards as there is no dearth of explosive batsmen in both sides.
If KXIP have Virender Sehwag, David Miller and George Bailey besides the in-form Maxwell, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, apart from Gayle, boast of Virat Kohli and A B de Villiers, match-winners in their own right. (Read Full Preview)

FOR MAXWELL IT'S ABOUT ENJOYING THE GAME
His name is sending shivers of chill across bowling attacks in the Indian Premier League 2014 but Kings XI Punjab batsman Glenn Maxwell cannot care less and said he was having fun, hitting the big shots out of the ground after his brutal 38-ball 90 destroyed Chennai Super Kings in Cuttack.
Maxwell was dismissed in the 90s for the third time in the tournament but his knock was the bedrock of Kings XI's 231/4 as CSK fell short by 44 runs. The Australian's 135-run partnership with David Miller for the third wicket left Chennai gasping for breath and Maxwell said it was fun sharing the hurricane stand with the South African southpaw.
"I go out to enjoy myself and we (him and Miller) love batting together, we talk about it a lot and it was fun to have a big partnership together and hit a few out of the park," said Maxwell as he collected the Man-of-the-Match award. (Read Full Story)

HOW DE VILLIERS MADE BANGALORE'S 100TH GAME SPECIAL
South African AB de Villiers has always been a 'freak' cricketer. There are very few cricketers in world cricket who can adjust to the demands of Test and T20 cricket so wonderfully. There are very few top-notch men who can keep wickets and field in any position on the field with such alacrity.
De Villiers scored a 41-ball 89 not out to script a stunning last-over win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bangalore on Sunday night. The innings could not have been timed better as RCB played their 100th IPL game to join Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in an 'exclusive' club. (Read Full Story)
