India have lost two wickets in two balls. Jamie Overton got the wicket of Axar Patel on the second ball of the over while Arshdeep Singh got out on the very next ball while trying to give the strike to Shivam Dube.

Shivam Dube scored his half-century in 31 balls. He got there with a four on the bowling of Brydon Carse. A total of 12 runs came off the over.

That is the end of an entertaining knock from Hardik Pandya. He departs after scoring 53 runs off 30 balls at a strike rate of 177. This was a much-needed innings for India as well as Hardik, who has failed to hit back to form, of late. 20 runs came off the over from Jamie Overton.

Hardik Pandya has raced to his half-century in only 27 balls. It was a slow start for him but he has made a superb recovery. The right-handed batter got to the landmark with a sensational six straight down the ground. Runs are coming at the rate of knots for India. 

17 runs have come off the 17th over and India can now target 180 from this point. It looks quite possible now. Hardik Pandya is looking in ominous touch while Shivam Dube is also providing a good support to him from the other end.

Sensational stuff from Hardik Pandya. He smashed the first ball of the over for a biggie before slamming the next one for a four.

A three-run over from Jamie Overton and India's scoring rate drops to 7.53 now. Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube have added 34 runs for the sixth wicket so far off 26 balls. Both of them need to fire now as only 30 balls are remaining in this Indian innings. 

A poor short ball from Adil Rashid and Shivam Dube has hit it away for a four. He follows it up with a sensational six down the ground. India are on the move now. Adil Rashid is looking worried now. Meanwhile, India have crossed 100 runs.

India are five down and it is Rinku Singh who departs this time. He danced down the track to hit the Brydon Carse, got a leading edge and the ball went to the third man fielder. Rinku fell for 30 off 26 balls.

It was an appeal against Rinku Singh on the fourth ball of the over from Adil Rashid. Rinku went for a reverse sweep on the googly bowled by Rashid. He missed the ball that brushed his body and went into the hands of first slip. England appealed but umpire was unconvinced. Jos Buttler went upstairs only to discover that the impact was outside the stumps.

Only four runs came off the Jofra Archer over despite the pacer bowling a no-ball in it. He made a brilliant comeback to bowl a dot ball on the free-hit. It was a bouncer that whizzed past Dube. India need to strong partnership from the duo of Rinku and Dube to post a big total.

Abhishek Sharma is out! He has a superb connection with the bat on the sweep shot but failed to keep the ball down. The ball directly went into the hands of  deep mid-wicket. Abhishek fell for 29 off 19 balls. The Indian camp, including head coach Gautam Gambhir, looked dejected over the dismissal.

Saqib Mahmood was hit for two fours in his second over but England are still ahead in this game. The guests couldn't have asked for a better start to this game. India's scoring rate is 7 and they have lost three crucial wickets. 

Sanju Samson is OUT! A similar dismissal for Samson as in the first three matches of this series. A short ball again into the body and he has pulled it out to the man at deep. This time it is at the square leg. Samson is out for 1 runs off 3 balls.

"There is always a breeze which blows and it's a pretty strong one. Dimensions - 65m and 64m square boundaries and a hit down the ground is 75m. Pitch - it's 60% red soil and 40% black soil. The red soil basically means that it has a little bit of carry and bounce, so there's a bit more in this surface than the black soil. That'll suit England a little bit. When you have a look at it, it's slightly deceiving, you can see the cracks but essentially we've got a covering of grass but it's dead grass and rolled in. I don't think it's going to play a major role. But it is pretty dry, you can see some cracks emerging, that then will suit some of the pace-off bowlers with their spin. So I am going to sit on the fence a little bit here. There's a bit in it for the pace bowlers and there's a bit in it for the spinners. When you look at the average score here, it's not a high-scoring ground. The curator says that the dew might set in around 8;30 although in practice it sets in around 6:30," said Murali Kartik and Nick Knight while giving the pitch report.

 Attempting some cheeky and audacious shots, a fit-again Rinku Singh was in full flow during an extended net session ahead of the fourth T20 International against England on Friday. Rinku was rested from the second and third game of the series due to back spasms and India's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate confirmed that the Aligarh dasher is good to go on Friday.

"Rinku is fit. He played the first game, hurt himself and missed the next two. But I would imagine Rinku comes back in as soon as he's proper fit. He batted the other night and I think he'll be ready to go tomorrow," India's assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate said during the pre-match press conference.
