Kevin Pietersen tweets Diwali wishes

The explosive batsman has wished his followers on the micro-blogging site on the occasion of Diwali.

New Delhi:

Kevin Pietersen can be explosive with the bat. Little wonder then that the man who can light up the field with his on-field heroics also tweeted wishing all on the occasion of the Indian festival of lights - Diwali.

Making his comeback to the national side, Pietersen and the England team are in Ahmedabad - venue for the opening Test starting Thursday. The batsman on Monday night tweeted his wishes to his followers on the micr-blogging site. "May this Diwali and its festivities brings joy, happiness, wealth, health and prosperity for you and your family.." he wrote.

The England team will be in the country till before Christmas next month, before returning home. The team will then return January next for the ODI series.
