Ponting struck on hand but is fine: Reports
Australia received an injury scare on Tuesday when Ricky Ponting was struck on his hand during a batting camp.

Australia received an injury scare on Tuesday when Ricky Ponting was struck on his hand during a batting camp.
According to a report in Sydney Monring Herald, the former Australia skipper took of his gloves immediately and shook his hand vigorously. Although Ponting has been quoted as saying he has recovered from the blow, it was an anxious night for fans, selectors and players alike. Skipper Clarke though confirmed on Wednesday that Ponting is '100 per cent fit.'
The batsman with over 12,000 runs in Tests earlier chose to attend the batting camp despite a Big Bash match and was named in the 13-man squad named for the Boxing Day Test on Wednesday. This despite previous calls from various sections asking selectors to show him the door.
