The wait to see India chase down the target of 321 runs against Sri Lanka got longer when the Bellerive Oval Ground at Hobart had a power failure during the 11th ODI of the CB Series on Tuesday.
The TV viewers were anxiously waiting to see the India innings which proved to be a stunning display but in the early overs, all they got was highlights of their last match and a message by the official broadcaster about the power failure.
Due to the condition, commentators Ravi Shastri, Ian Chappell and a few technical staff also got stuck in the elevator at the stadium reportedly.
The failure, which started in the innings break, lasted till the first few overs of the Indian innings after which the uninterrupted coverage resumed.
