Remaining members of the Indian cricket team including skipper MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli and coach Duncan Fletcher arrived in Australia on Tuesday after a 13 hour flight from Chennai.
The Indian team is scheduled to play a warm-up match against Cricket Australia Chairman's XI on Thursday and the players were on a bus to Canberra soon after landing. "Different vibe in Australia. Lovin it though! Off to Canberra 3 hour drive. Not good after 13 hours of travelling," tweeted Kohli. The batsman even posted a rather tired-looking picture of himself on his account. " On the way to Canberra!!! Sleepy as you can see," he wrote.
Some of the senior members - Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid - had already departed for Australia last week in preparation for the Test series which begins December 26.
