# Sehwag's aforesaid figures are his best against Australia in ODIs, surpassing the 3 for 59 at Bangalore on March 25, 2001.  He became the second Indian spinner to bag three wickets against Australia at SCG. Venkatapathy Raju had taken 3 for 32 on January 20, 1992.

# Ravichandran Ashwin could not take a wicket against Australia in Australia in three ODIs in the present competition, conceding 48 runs at MCG on February 5, 47 at Adelaide on February 12 and 45 at SCG on February 26.
