Colombo:
The International Cricket Council has changed the bottled water provided to players involved in the World Twenty20 tournament after some complained of stomach ailments and one even needed hospital treatment.
New Zealand seam bowler Tim Southee was hospitalized last week while former captain Daniel Vettori and Rob Nicol also fell ill.
An ICC spokesman said authorities decided to replace the water brand provided to players, officials, media and hospitality areas even though they found no proof of contamination.
