Ankara:
Ivorian footballer Didier Drogba will leave Galatasaray at the end of the season, Turkish media reported.
Drogba will probably not extend his contract with Galatasaray at the end of the season, said the Turkish Daily News on Wednesday, adding that the Ivorian centre-forward has contacted two Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs -- the Seattle Sounders and the New York Red Bulls, reports Xinhua.
After being signed on a free transfer from China's Shanghai Shenhua in January 2013, Drogba has quickly gained popularity at Galatasaray, scoring 18 goals in 46 matches. He was also the core player in leading Galatasaray to Turkey's league title last year and qualifying for the Champions League second round this season.
