London:
German international Michael Ballack has confirmed his intention to see out the remainder of his career with English Premier League club Chelsea.
Although the midfielder has struggled to make an impact in the Premiership, he has no plans to leave the London outfit, the 31-year-old player told German TV station ARD.
Ballack, who was linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, has two years left to run on his lucrative deal and would like to end his career in England.
"I feel very happy here and would like to end my career here," said Ballack.
Ballack is currently unavailable with the ankle injury that has sidelined him since April, but would be interested in an extension once he is fit and healthy.
"Although I want to end my career at Chelsea if I am still fit when my contract runs out, why should I not play on for another two years?" he added.
