# The last instance Zimbabwe won a Test match against a team other than Bangladesh was in 2001 - by four wickets vs India at Harare in June 2001.

# Misbah's knock is the second highest unbeaten score by a captain in a losing cause in the fourth innings, next only to the 91 not out by West Indian, Clive Lloyd vs Australia at Melbourne in January/February 1976.

# Misbah's unbeaten 79 is the highest score by a Pakistan captain in a losing cause in Tests. Javed Miandad had posted 79 vs Australia at Perth in November 1981.

# Younis Khan has got his third Player of the Series award in Tests - his first vs Zimbabwe. His first two such awards were against India in 2006 and vs Bangladesh in 2011.

# Younis has top-scored in the series with 309 runs at an average of 103.00.

# Saeed Ajmal, with 14 wickets at an average of 19.00 in two Tests, is the top wicket-taker in the series. His tally of 25 wickets at 25.24 in five Tests is the highest by a Pakistani bowler in Tests in 2013.
