Jayant Yadav replaced Hardik Pandya
Young off-spinnner Jayant Yadav on Saturday made his India debut in the decider against New Zealand in Visakhapatnam. Yadav, who replaced all-rounder Hardik Pandya, was handed his India cap by none other than Virender Sehwag.

The Haryana lad made instant impact on his first-class debut in 2011, taking six wickets against Gujarat.
Jayant can also contribute with the bat. His resume boasts of a double hundred (211) in domestic cricket. He also kicked off the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy season with a hundred.
In the last few years, Jayant Yadav has steadily built a solid reputation for himself in India's cricketing circles. In 42 first-class matches, he has 117 wickets at an average of 29.70 and an economy rate of 3.26.
Yadav got his first taste of IPL in 2015, when the Delhi Daredevils signed him up.
The 26-year-old is among the most promising cricketers in India. However, with Ravichandran Ashwin leading the country's spin attack, it is indeed difficult for him to break into the squad.
Hence Jayant needs to capitalize on the few opportunities he is bound to get in order to make a lasting impact on the national selectors.
