ULFA welcomes India-Pak ODI teams
The banned ULFA on Saturday welcomed both the Indian and Pakistan cricket teams in Guwahati to play the first one-day international match.

In an e-mail to the media here, ULFA Chairman, Arabinda Rajkhowa said "the teams have talented and record-holding cricket players and they have received international honours and recognition".
"We inform the players and those connected with providing security that we respect all sports, talent of the sports people and sportsmanship. We extend our welcome to both the internationally respected teams," Rajkhowa said.
Earlier, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) reportedly appealed to the ULFA to help in the smooth conduct of the game, but ACA officials refused to comment.
