SA vs NED, 3rd ODI Highlights: Fiery knock from Aiden Markram, followed by a five-wicket haul from Sisanda Magala guided South Africa to a victory by 146 runs in the third and final ODI against Netherlands on Sunday. Asked to bat first, Aiden Markram scored a brilliant 175 while David Miller registered a 91-run knock as South Africa gave the Netherlands a 371-run target to chase. Later, Netherlands were bundled out for 224 after Magala took five wickets while Aiden Markram took two wickets. Netherlands had to toil hard. They started well and ended well but got the beating from two Proteas players. Netherlands were a bit sloppy with the ball though. Too wayward at times and too many freebies as well. Not what Scott Edwards would have though while opting to bowl first. While everyone were going for runs, Fred Klaassen ended with two wickets and on the economical side. Now the damage is done. This is a belter of a pitch. If Netherlands see out the first few overs and hang on, they might get close. Stay tuned to find over.
Excellent recovery from Netherlands but the damage was done earlier from South Africa. It was all about the two-man, Miller and Markram. A mammoth stand of around 200 was stitched. There was no stopping when these two were batting. It was raining boundaries and Netherlands were feeling the heat. It was Markram who started and Miller quickly joined him in the destruction. Aiden Markram got to his 150 while David Miller fall just 9 short to his century. Temba Bavuma did said at the toss that they will look to score around 350 and they will be pretty please with this score.
