Hosts Andhra have defeated Haryana by an innings and 45 runs to pick up a maximum of five points in the Elite B Group Ranji Trophy match.
Having conceded a 203 run first innings lead, Haryana were all out for 158 within an hour's play this morning, as Kalyankrishna claimed two wickets to take his tally to five and give Andhra a handsome victory.
The hosts now aggregate seven points.
Vital knocks
Andhra had bundled Haryana out for 206 in the first innings, and piled up 409 runs with MSK Prasad (79) and Venugopala Rao (70) playing vital knocks.
KS Shabuddin chipped in with 61 runs while Mohamed Faiq hit 42.
Haryana batsmen failed to fire for the second time in the match, with speedsters Shabuddin and Kalyankrishna bowling a tight length.
Kalyankrishna despatched overnight batsman Mahesh Rawat for 42 after he added just two runs to his score.
Andhra bowled 13.2 overs and conceded 33 runs to claim the remaining two wickets in 64 minutes.
They have two more matches in the Elite B Group. (PTI)
