Post dinner break session was interrupted due to floodlight failure
Greater Noida:
The post dinner break session in the inaugural Duleep Trophy Day/Night encounter between India Red and India Green was delayed by 17 minutes due to floodlight malfunction at the stadium here.
The post dinner break session was supposed to start at 7:01 pm but it couldn't be started before 7:18 pm as bulbs in most of the floodlight towers were not illuminated.
"There was a problem of power tripping and that was the cause for the delay in commencement of the final session," a UPCA official said.
