That's it for today as South Africa have taken the 1-0 lead in the three match series. Join us again as we will come back on 12th July 2015 at 1450 Local Time. Until then, Goodbye and take care.
Man of the match - Khagiso Rabada. It had to be him for his bowling performance of 6/16.
Shakib Al Hasan picks up the award for the best Bangladeshi performer. Mortaza said the total was not really competitive and Shakib and Rahim had a good partnership but it was not enough.
In reply, Quinton de Kock and Amla entered with intent. They both got off to a good start but after the dismissal of Amla, Quinton looked uncomfortable. He managed to play himself to 35 before getting out. After the two openers departed, in came Rossouw and du Plessis. Both of them played all the way til the end to take South Africa through comfortably. They never looked troubled and Bangladesh will be questioning their bowling and batting after tonight's performance. Also, this was the first wicketless preformance by Mustafizur Rahman. There's a;ways a first isn't there?
That's it then, Bangladesh lose the first ODI and South Africa lead the 3 match series 1-0. They have done it very very convincingly. It all started with the brilliance of Khagiso Rabada. He picked up 6 wickets and gets the best bowling figures on debut. His day couldn't have been any better as he even got a hat-trick to his name. Along with his bowling partners, South Africa restricted the Bangladeshi's for 160.
FOUR! That's it. Rossouw cuts this through point and nobody bothers to stop it. South Africa win this match by 8 wickets.
Shabbir Rahman comes in to bowl.
Drives this superbly to covers this time. No runs.
FOUR! That looked like it was going all the way. du Plessis smacked the ball over mid wicket for a boundary. The ball was tad short and asking to be hit.
du Plessis has played that off the front foot and into the ground.
