Supreme Court Declines to Hear Plea To Stop N. Srinivasan From Taking up ICC Top Post
N. Srinivasan, who has been stopped by Supreme Court to function as BCCI president, is set to be the first chairman of the ICC.

The Supreme Court on Thursday declined to hear Cricket Association of Bihar's plea to stop BCCI president-in-exile N. Srinivasan from participating in International Cricket Council elections scheduled on June 27. Srinivasan is set to become the first chairman of the new-look ICC.
The CAB lawyer told court that Srinivasan had given an undertaking he will not act as BCCI chief till probe into IPL over was over. The lawyer said Srinivasan should not represent at the ICC.
The Supreme Court said: "There is no conflict and our order is clear" and declined to hear the plea. Srinivasan is among 13 persons under investigation for corruption in IPL 2013.
