Australia 'A' skipper Aaron Finch is optimistic of his team's chances ahead of their final against India 'A' at the TUKS Oval on Wednesday.
"When we arrived here this was our goal so I'm really happy we have come so far. I think between us and India we have played more consistently well and we're looking forward to tomorrow," he said, speaking after their final practice.
The flat nature of the pitch has been conducive to high-scoring matches. The last match between India 'A' and South Africa 'A' yielded 827 runs with Shikhar Dhawan scoring 248 of them from just 150 balls.
Finch is looking forward to his batsmen give it one last bash. "There has been a run fest for the batters on this pitch and a hard time for the medium-pacers and we can't wait to see how it's going to play out tomorrow after yesterday," he continued.
"We have a team of pretty aggressive players and we're all very experienced in one-day cricket, we're very confident of our abilities and it's been good that we haven't quite played our best cricket and yet we've won three matches so far," he added.
"Hopefully some of the performances coming off the back of this tour have got some guys in there, some of the guys definitely have their fingers crossed," Finch concluded.
